Services we can support you with: 

  • Arrange Face to Face meetings with any Government Agency that visit our centre
  • Arrange meetings using technology with Government Agencies
  • E-mail service to Government Agencies
  • Identify, access (and print/scan) Government forms: e.g. MSD, IR
  • Phone access for enquiries to Government Agencies
  • Computer suite to access Government Agencies
  • One on one support with our Heartland Services Coordinators
  • CV writing
  • Technology support
  • Application submissions
  • Workshops and Clinics
  • Referrals to other support services
  • Guest Wi-Fi access
  • Photocopying, printing, scanning, laminating, E-mails on behalf
  • Projector and collapsible screen access
  • Typing services are available

Additional services and information:

  • Rooms for private hire: 3 large rooms, a small lounge for informal use and two office spaces.  The larger rooms have a white board, tables and chairs for approximately 15-20 people and access to toilet facilities.  Two offer kitchen access with complimentary tea/coffee facilities. The small lounge and two office spaces have appropriate office furniture. Reduced rates for not for profits organisations and free for some Heartland Services.
  • Our Board Room has a large board table with chairs, a wall mounted computer screen and speaker system. These work well for zoom calls and conferencing hui. A white board is also available.  This room can hold up to 15 people. Reduced rates for not for profit organisations and free for some Heartland Services.
  • Provide information on social services and support available in the Taumarunui District
  • One-to-one guidance and support for people - we are a starting point, and we can work with you to help you access the services and support that you need.
  • Advocate on behalf of our community for better outcomes and services for Taumarunui
  • Booking Service for the Taumarunui Mobility Van, for essential trips around town, by phoning the CKC REAP office, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
  • AA agency providing a wide range of licensing and registration services, along with IRD verification
  • Safe to Go Driving Programmes providing a vehicle, tutor and a 45 minute driving lessons to prepare for licence testing
  • Community Law provides free legal service for Taumarunui area residents, gives advice and advocacy on most legal problems but unable to take cases to court (but can aid leading up to day in court)
  • Adult Community Education programmes, empowering whanau by offering a second chance at learning
